International Chef Compete Challenging For 'Cao Lau' in Hoi An

International cuisine Festival Hoi An 2017 from 12th to 14th June with 10 famous chefs world to compete in the program "Cao Lau" has attracted tens of thousands of tourists to attend.

In the chain of activities of the Quang Nam Heritage Festival, on June 12nd, at the An Hoi Garden, the Hoi An People's Committee held the opening of the 3rd Hoi An International Food Festival.

Hoi An International Food Festival 2017 with the theme "Cao Lau" attracts 10 international chefs who are working in Vietnamese restaurants to prepare high-graded dishes according to their country's taste. This activity aims to promote and affirm trademark, cultural image and tourism of Hoi An. It builds for a friendly, hospitable Hoi An to friends near and far.
At the same time, the event also created opportunities for the chefs of local restaurants to exchange experiences with international food experts from domestic enterprises, contributing to improve skills, products and food services to serve.

With unique processing, methods and taste, in recent years, Hoi An cuisine has won many prestigious magazines and travel pages all over the world, voted and honored. Especially, at the 2nd Hoi An International Food Festival (held in March 2017), Hoi An was honored by the World Chefs Association to issue the certificate "The new food capital of Vietnam".
